The IKEA Poäng Armchair is a popular bent wood armchair with foam cushions wrapped in either fabric or leather. Designed around the contours of the human body by Japanese designer Noboru Nakamura in 1972, the Poäng armchair remains a classic and versatile furniture piece for use at home or in casual reception spaces.

The Poäng’s frame is constructed of bent and glued birch wood with varied finishes and IKEA provides an assortment of fabric or leather options for the foam cushions.

The IKEA Poäng Armchair measures 26.75” (68 cm) wide, 32.25” (82 cm) deep, and has a height of 39.375” (100 cm). The seat front is 17.375” (45 cm) high, has a depth of 19.625” (50 cm), and is 22” (56 cm) wide.
