Description

Norman Foster is one of the world’s leading architects. After attending Yale School of Architecture, he founded his own architectural firm in 1967, and became a leading designer of commercial and office buildings. His work includes; 30 St Mary Axe - more commonly known as The Gherkin - in London: the restored Reichstag in Berlin: the HSBC building in Hong Kong; and the Hearst Tower in New York City.

In 2012, Norman Foster was selected – as a leading cultural figure- to be on an up-to-date reimagining of artist Peter Blake’s famous album cover for The Beatles (Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band).
