Description

Twitter is a digital platform where users share thoughts, news, and content in "tweets," short messages limited to 280 characters. It's a hub for real-time updates, enabling people to follow individuals, organizations, and topics of interest. Features like hashtags help categorize content, making it easier to track discussions and trends. Users can "retweet" to share others' content, "like" tweets, or reply, fostering interaction. It's widely used for networking, entertainment, political discourse, and more. Twitter's mobile app and website make it accessible, and its simple, text-focused format distinguishes it from other, more visually-oriented social media platforms.

Over time, it expanded its character limit and introduced features like threads, making it a versatile platform for both individuals and organizations to share and discuss real-time information.
