The Formlabs Form 3 is an industrial quality 3D printer. A custom-designed light processing unit (LPU) uses a system of lenses and mirrors to deliver accurate and repeatable prints. Other features include a high-power-density laser for clean features, and a parabolic mirror that ensures for the laser to print perpendicularly to the build plane for uniform print quality.
The Formlabs Form 3 has a physical outer height of 20.9” (53 cm), width of 15.9” (40.5 cm), and depth of 14.8” (37.5 cm). The overall build volume is 7.3” (18.5 cm) tall, 5.7” (14.5 cm) wide, 5.7” (14.5 cm) deep, and has a layer resolution between 25-300 microns.
