Formlabs Form 3L 3D Printer

Set of dimensioned elevation drawings of the Formlabs Form 3L measured with height, width, and depth

The Formlabs Form 3L is a 3D printer that is reliable and easy to use for the production of industrial- quality parts. With similar features to the Formlabs Form 3 printer, the 3L printer has two staggered light processing units (LPUs), a high density laser, a parabolic mirror, integrated sensors, and optical sensors, that allows for user efficiency and high quality prints.

The Formlabs Form 3L has a physical outer height of 28.9” (73.5 cm), width of 30.5” (77.5 cm), and depth of 20.5” (52 cm). The overall build volume is 11.8” (30 cm) tall, 13.2” (33.5 cm) wide, 7.9” (20 cm) deep, and has a layer resolution between 25-300 microns.

A 3D Printer is a square or rectangular machine which is able to create 3D objects out a variety of materials. An object is first modeled in a 3D program, and then sent to the 3D printer. The printer then splices the 3D object into layers, and is able to print from the bottom of the base to the top.
