The MakerBot Replicator Z18 combines a large build volume with speed and reliability that allows for the production of extra-large and tall models and prototypes. The inclusion of the MakerBot Smart Extruder+ produces high quality and consistent pieces, and the printer is designed to print durable fixtures.

A 3D Printer is a square or rectangular machine which is able to create 3D objects out a variety of materials. An object is first modeled in a 3D program, and then sent to the 3D printer. The printer then splices the 3D object into layers, and is able to print from the bottom of the base to the top.
