The Ultimaker S3 is a 3D printer with an award-winning touch interface and seamless software integration to deliver high-quality and composite-ready performance. It is a great option for the office or the studio. Some features are a dual extrusion, 20 micron (0.001 inch) layer resolution, an open filament system, and dual filament flow sensors that notify the user when a material runs out.

The Ultimaker S3 has a physical outer height of 16.46” (41.8 cm), width of 15.5” (39.4 cm), and depth of 14.96” (38 cm). The overall build volume is 7.9" (20 cm) tall, 9” (23 cm) wide, 7.4” (19 cm) deep, and has a layer resolution between 20-600 microns.

A 3D Printer is a square or rectangular machine which is able to create 3D objects out a variety of materials. An object is first modeled in a 3D program, and then sent to the 3D printer. The printer then splices the 3D object into layers, and is able to print from the bottom of the base to the top.
