The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, is a member of the Galaxy Tab Series of tablets as the successor to the Galaxy Tab S3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4  was introduced on April 1st 2018 at the same time as the less expensive Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5.

Improving on its predecessors the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has a larger display, iris and facial recognition, and no navigation buttons. Consumers have the option to purchase a magnetic attachable keyboard for their Galaxy Tab S4, but the keyboard does not feature a trackpad, confining users to the touchscreen functionality or a Bluetooth mouse.
