Emmanuel Macron is the President of France. He won the election in 2017 at the age of 39, becoming the youngest president in French history. He considers himself as a Centrist. Since he has been in power, he has passed a series of controversial labor laws that have resulted in rioting across the country. People have not agreed with his decisions and he has had to back down. His official photos make him look really powerful - he usually sits at a desk with lots of symbolic objects around him -- he is trying to look like a really strong leader.
