Xi Jinping is the President of China, which is the world’s most populated country. He was born into a political family and received an elite education. He has a PhD in jurisprudence from Tsinghua University in Beijing. He has been in power since 2013 and has overseen a great deal of social and economic reforms. Xi Jinping is credited with the political slogan ‘Chinese Dream’, which his party used to encapsulate the ideals of an advanced consumerist Chinese Society. Xi Jinping is married to famous Chinese folk singer Peng Liyuan -- they have one child.
