Mike Pence was the Vice-President of the United States of America under President DonaldTrump, having served in this role since the 2017 Presidential election until 2021. Born in in Indiana in 1959, he worked as a lawyer before being elected to Congress in the year 2000. He served as Governor to Indiana from 2012 to 2017. Mike Pence is anti-abortion, against women serving in the military, and is against same-sex marriage. In February 2020, President Trump announced Pence as the leader of the Coronavirus Task Force, an initiative that, due to extent of the pandemic in the US, is viewed to have failed.
