John F. Kennedy, often known as JFK, was an American Politician who served as 35th President of the United States of America. He was born in 1917 in Boston, to the prominent Kennedy family. He became involved in politics in 1947, and was sworn in as President in 1961. JFK’s Presidency was known for his involvement in the Cuban Missile Crisis, his Civil Rights Advocacy, and of course, his affair with actress Marilyn Monroe. JFK was married to Jaqueline Bouvier, who became well known in her own right for her elegant style and involvement in the arts. She was with her husband when he was fatally shot in Dallas, Texas, whilst traveling in a Presidential motorcade.
