Kylo Ren, aka Ben Solo, is a fictional First Order leader and aspiring Sith in the Star Wars movies and extended franchise. He is the son of Leia Organa and Han Solo, and the nephew of Luke Skywalker. Raised in the light, Kylo studied to be a Jedi under Luke’s supervision until he was lured to the dark side by Supreme Leader Snoke. He is known for his iconic mask which he wears as an homage to his grandfather, the notorious Darth Vader, and for his three-pronged red lightsaber. Once an innocent boy, he has darkened into a formidable enemy of the rebellion.
