Princess Leia Organa, also known as General Organa, is the fictional Princess of Alderaan, a member of the Imperial Senate and a leader in the resistance against the first order in the Star Wars movies and extended franchise. She is the daughter of Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker, and Luke Skywalker’s sister, adopted at birth by Senator Bail and Queen Organa or Alderaan and raised as princess and a politician until the destruction of her planet forces her into the rebellion full-time. She is force-sensitive, though her greatest talents lie in her leadership skills.
