General Armitage Hux is the fictional First Order general in the Star Wars movies and extended franchise. He believes he’s destined to rule the galaxy, and has been instrumental in turning the First Order from a string of Imperial leftovers into a galactic power. He resents Kylo Ren’s rank over him, and is always looking for a way to undermine Kylo’s power while augmenting his own. He is a scrawny figure with a short temper. However, unlike Kylo’s violent and intimidating outbursts, Hux’s outbursts generally leave him red in the face and trembling and do nothing for his gravitas.
