The Russian Blue cat, also known as Archangel Blue and Archangel Cat, is a long, slender cat with a soft, dense coat. Physically, the Russian Blue cat is similar to the Korat and Oriental Shorthair, it is medium in size, with compact muscles, and a coat that is silver to slate gray in color. In fact, the Russian Blue cat’s double coat stands out at a 45 degree angle which allows patterns to be traced in their fur which remain until smoothed out. Russian Blue cats are highly intelligent, loyal, and affectionate companions and tend to be less allergenic.
