Melania met businessman Donald Trump in 1998 and they began dating. They married in 2005 in Florida, and had an extravagant wedding reception at Trump’s Mar-a Lago estate. She wore a $200,000 John Galliano wedding dress. She assumed the role of First Lady upon her husband’s inauguration in 2017. In her role she has headed anti online bullying campaigns, and focuses on youth work. She has won son, Barron Trump.
