James Dean was a Hollywood film actor. Born in Indiana in 1933, but moving to California at the age of five. He starred in a number of well known films, including Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden, and Giant. He became known for his brooding good looks and bad boy vibes. He often played a young rebel, bored with the monotony of everyday life, and seeking new thrills. James Dean was killed in a car crash at the age of 24. He became a symbol of the confused, restless and wild youth of the 1950s.
