Hermione Granger is a very talented young witch. Her parents are both Muggles, and work as dentists. She began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of eleven, where she excels in all her magical classes. She is a member of the Hogwarts House of Gryffindor, alongside her best friends Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. She is considered the brains of the group, and often has the answers when they are faced with magical problems. She has a cat named Crookshanks, and founded the organisation SPEW, Society for the Protection of Elvish Welfare.
