Description

Clark Gable was a famous Hollywood film actor. He was born in 1901 in Ohio and served in the military during the Second World War.  He was dubbed ‘The King of Hollywood’ due to his appearance in a great number of popular films. One of his most famous roles was as Rhett Butler in Gone With the Wind, a Civil War epic, where he starred opposite Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O’Hara. His most famous line has become immortalized in cinematic history. As he leaves Scarlett for the last time, he responds to her pleading, by uttering the words: ‘frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn’.
