Description
Description

A popular member of the toy group of dog breeds, the Shih Tzu is a small, easy-going dog ranging from nine to sixteen pounds and is famous for its exceptionally long, silky, hair-like coat. Originating in China with evidence of its popularity in the Forbidden City, this little pooch was treasured in the Chinese court and regarded as a holy messenger. Bred to be a companion, the Shih Tzu is known for its relaxed and pleasant demeanor, though can be stubborn at times. Having your Shih Tzu groomed on a regular basis is a must, and stylish hair pins and bows can help keep hair out of your furry friend’s eyes.
