The strike zone in baseball refers to the volume of space which a ball must pass through to be called a ‘strike’ (if the batter doesn’t swing). Lacrosse Cradling refers to maintaining ball possession in a lacrosse game while moving with the lacrosse stick without the ball falling. The players are protecting and handling the ball while moving around the field. To effectively master this skill, you must grasp how to duck, check, escape hitting, shooting, and passing. You must hold the lacrosse stick with both hands, with the dominant hand holding the stick near its head and the other almost at the bottom. While performing a cradle, the stick needs to be in a parallel position to the body.

The Baseball Pitcher’s Mound, also referred to as the hill, is the raised pitching area that is placed at the center of the infield. It is where the Baseball Pitcher pitches the ball towards the batter. The pitcher stands at its center on the pitcher’s rubber. The Baseball Pitcher’s Mound sits higher than any other Baseball base and is circular in shape. The pitcher’s rubber is white and made of rubber. The Baseball Pitcher’s Mound should be maintained in good condition as the pitcher depends on it. The standards of the Baseball Pitcher’s Mound are regulated by Major League Baseball.
