Assorted silhouettes of men and women in the Scorpion Pose

To do Scorpion Pose use a lot of caution. It is advised to use a variety or preparatory postures to build strength and work up to scorpion pose. The basics of this posture are to begin with forearms to the mat and the feel on the ground with the hips up. Slowly engage the core and move towards lifting the hips and legs above the torso. Next, bring the feet to meet the head to resemble a scorpion.
