Half Boat Pose is a seated beginner posture that strengthens the stomach, hips and spine. Half Boat Pose has also been known to relieve stress and help with thyroid issues. Half Boat is also the first step to full boat pose.

To do Half Boat Pose, begin in a seated position, lift the legs and grab the back of the thighs while the core is engaged to help with balance. Be mindful not to let the shoulder cave in and ground through the sit bones.
