Warrior III Pose (Virabhadrasana III)

Warrior III is an intermediate standing posture where the Yogi balances on one foot. Warrior III strengthens the legs, arms, shoulders and back while stretching the hamstring. Warrior III also helps with balance and stability.

To do Warrior III from a high lunge, push up with the back leg while reaching forward with the arms, palms facing in. Keep the hips level, the back foot active and the head up, reaching through the crown of the head.
