Fire Log Pose is a beginner hip-opener pose that stretches the outside of the hips with intensity. The benefits of Fire Log Pose are simple, this pose stretches the hips and groin. Warm up for Fire Log Pose with postures such as Bound Angle Pose and or Reclining Bound Angle Pose. Cool down from Fire Log Pose with a Seated Forward Bend or Wide Leg Forward Fold. Low back and knee issues use precaution.

To do Fire Log Pose, cross the legs and place the right knee on top of the left knee and the left ankle under the right knee. Maintain posture and take some deep breath. Switch sides to create balance. Do not do this if you feel any knee pain!
